By 2030, UN HABITAT, expects 67% of the world population to live in cities and 2 billions of people could be living in places that have not reached acceptable levels of quality of life.

Smart Citizens is a smart cities pilot in Cameroon that will build the foundations for urban intelligence. Cities involved in the pilot will be able to redefine civic engagement, share or provide data that will help local governments to improve public services and build better places for all.
Its implementation supported by digital transformation efforts will help citizens take informed decisions about the way they live, they move and they collaborate within their cities.
